Age of The Universe

This calendar was designed to relate the age of the universe to the length of a 365 day year, conveying a grand sense of the passage of time. One calendar year is the equivalent of 13.7 billion years, in which the major events in the formation of the universe are placed and explained to create a better understanding of how the Earth and life formed. Each month is intended to be viewed in line with the previous, in one continuous timeline. The application is best suited as an educational tool at an exhibit in a science museum. The assets for this project were 3D modeled in Cinema 4D and composited, with supplementary assets coming from NASA's Hubble space telescope. During this project I gained a valuable understanding of particle systems and xpresso nodes in Cinema 4D.
